This ranking was decided by the Ministry of Railways by doing an in-depth assessment of the drives undertaken by the railway stations, their outcomes and feedback of the average citizen and passengers along with the “Quality Council of India”.

The railway station of Vishakapatnam is a major station in Andhra Pradesh, India. The Vishakapatnam railway station comes under the Eastern Railway Zone and is ranked first in the list of most clean stations across India. It received a final score of 85% and came on top among 75 other A1 category railway station. This station had earlier got the 42nd spot in this ranking given the Indian Railways. This is a great achievement by the railway authorities of the Vijayawada railway station because it is one of the busiest railway stations in the country. It is situated on the railway lines of the Chennai-Howrah and Chennai-New Delhi and hence sees a huge number of people and trains traveling through it.
Anand Vihar (ANVT)
Finally, a railway station from the capital of India, New Delhi, making its way into this list. Anand Vihar railway station is looked after by the Delhi Division of the Northern Railway Zone. This railway station is known for its ease of access for the citizens of the state. With an overall score of 82%, the Anand Vihar station of New Delhi ranks 5th in the A1 category of railway stations.
